Ukrainian women’s (WU19) football team plays in Scotland

The Second Qualifying Round of the 12th UEFA European Women’s Under 19 Championship took place in Scotland from 4 to 9 April, 2013.
The Ukrainian national team, having played against Austria, Denmark and Scotland, took the third place in the teams’ standings. The performance of the team was negatively affected by the absence in the last two matches of its captain, leading defender Daryna Kravets who underwent a surgical operation on April 6, 2013.
