Obtain a certified translation of the data page of your passport, any annulment decrees, divorce decrees or death certificates of your former spouse(s) (if you were previously married), and the letter of non-impediment to marriage.
To arrange for your marriage, take all the documents, including your original passport (with a translation), the authenticated original death or divorce decree (if any) (with translation), and the authenticated Letter of Non-Impediment to Marriage, with translation to RAGS - the civil registrar's office in the hometown of your fiance(e).

- Foreigners and stateless persons are to submit their application for a short-term visa no earlier than three months before the planned trip.

In order to get the criminal record check certificate from Ukraine an applicant should address the Consulate in person and fill in relevant forms (Note: the forms are to be filled in Ukrainian).

Validity of the visa cannot be extended. The invitation letter of a foreigner issued by Ukrainian higher educational institutions should be registered at the State Centre of International Education (ref. Ukraine's Border Guard Service officers will be carrying out border control procedures according to the new Rules starting from September 2015.

As it states, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine adopted Rules on defining the period of short-term stay in Ukraine for foreigners who are nationals of states with a visa-free entry regime (order no.884 of 20 July 2015 registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 5 August 2015 by no.944/27389).
Changes will affect nationals of states which enjoy a visa-free regime with Ukraine.
The Rules establish a new way the number of days a foreigner may stay in Ukraine is calculated.
From 9 September 2015 and on Ukraine's Border Guard Service officers shall be subtracting 180 days from the actual date a foreigner is entering/leaving Ukraine to see whether the 90-day limit has been exceeded.
For instance, if a foreigner enters Ukraine on 9 September Border Guard Service officers shall take away 180 days from that date and check whether the foreigner has overstayed the allowed number of days (90). The same procedure shall be carried out upon all departures.
Foreigners violating the rules of visa-free stay in Ukraine shall face legal consequences.
When a previous overstay is detected by Border Guard Service officers a foreigner shall be denied entry to Ukraine.
If an overstay is revealed upon a foreigner's departure from Ukraine he/she shall be brought to administrative responsibility according to Article 203 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences The allowed period of stay in Ukraine remains unchanged - foreigners enjoying a visa-free entry regime may stay in Ukraine for up to 90 days within 180 days, unless stated otherwise by international treaties of Ukraine.
