On March 18, 2013 a group of 16 Ukrainian schoolchildren from Korosten, Zhytomyr region, completed their one month-long staying with Scottish host families on the invitation of the Chernobyl Children’s Life Line (CCLL) Ayrshire link.

The CCLL is a charity founded in 1991 which aims to bring children from the Chornobyl disaster-affected areas to the UK for recuperative breaks and recreation.
