This so-called "humanitarian convoy" was sent in gross violation of international and national legislation and counter to procedures agreed with the International Committee of the Red Cross. A Ukrainian interagency group performed only visual observation of the cargo without proper verification taking place.
This "humanitarian convoy" is believed to contain dangerous cargo, namely herbicides and non-humanitarian goods including foam producing agents and metal structures.
Ukraine demands that Russia respect Ukrainian legislation as well as international norms and procedures while sending assistance to militants-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
